Anne Marie's Country Deli : About

      [  About  |  Contact  |  Walking Map  ]

Sugar Loaf : better than you remember

Vintage Sugar Loaf boasted two culturally significant gathering spots that were universally used every day.

One was the post office on the edge of town and the other was the deli in the center of town.

A standard day for Sugar Loaf artisans always included a trip to both the deli and the post office.

First a walk to the post office encountering one community member after another with smiles, handshakes, and conversation.

Then a quick stop at the deli for more of the same before beginning the day's work.

Probably more decisions and plans of importance were made in and around these two gathering spots than in all the other local meeting halls combined.

Modern Sugar Loaf is no different and is held together by the same cultural glue, but today is even better.

The two meeting places have been moved closer together thus more convenient for today's busy country lifestyle.

Take part in an age old tradition by participating in Anne Marie's quick start exercise program.

Park in the Ann Marie's parking lot, walk over for your mail, then return to pick up your morning starter.

You might even enjoy a walk around the bypass with other locals who know that nothing is better than a healthful brisk morning walk.

And, hey, you gotta eat!
