TRAIN EXHIBIT
exhibition at the Chester Historical Society
47 Main Street, Chester, NY
consecutive Saturdays thru October 2015
9am - 1pm
Mary Endico took some photos during the opening reception, May
2, 2015.
The pictures tell a lot of the story, but for the details
you'll have to go over to the Chester Train Station and see for yourself.
There is even a working model train for the kids to
run.
Yes, we know some of the text above is a repeat of last year's,
but really it is spectacular, so this year we added some text below.

the presentation was his opportunity to gather together
all his trains and scenery which had spread out
across his house as a life of responsibility took hold
visitors dressed in various period costumes
representing eras of travelers who have passed
through the station
tiny worlds fuel the imagination of tiny (and not so tiny) viewers
thank you, thank you, thank you
art is not confined to gallery walls
happiness and friendship need no prompting
excellence of the past informs the present
you certainly want to step through that door
and an easy release of breath must surely allow
you will be enthralled
reminded of how we arrived
