 And ?

 There's this.

 Plus this.

 Also this.

 And a new music album.

But if you really want to learn something, start with a Wikipedia article something like this
.

78722/16/2023 1:50:32 PMRuth NofchisseyI just got my Dick Manley dulcimer, number 333 back in my posession- I am thrilled- it got separated from me in a move several years ago. I am just a beginner though I have been a musician for quite a while, and i came upon this instrument at the Santa Fe flea- Tesuque Flea actually, more than twenty years ago. so glad to see one here in the museum- is Dick still alive?
Sincerely, Ruth Nofchissey ( aka Ruth Thomas, or Tami Thomas)

Sadly Dick has passed, but it is good to know that his work lives on.

I am looking for information about Joanne Sauer who was an artist in Sugar Loaf.

Ray Boswell knew her well.
784512/27/2021 6:26:44 AMBob FugettYes, yes, I know this website has languished post-covid.

Direct links to the current businesses in town are stale, but don't forget I have vast experience in all things Internet — Social included.

Therefore, I understand that until somebody in the real world expresses a strong interest in making this place special again, it is best to leave the Sugar Loaf Guild website as is, an orphaned historic firsthand account of an incredible much loved event.

Maybe somebody new will open a studio and demand Sugar Loaf return to its former glory.

When that day arrives I will be here waiting with a fully realized script for just how that might happen.

In the meantime my next article is already in the can, poised to strike from its safe space (a note titled "Office Use Only") hidden in the database behind this post.

Always pays to be prepared.

Well, Bob, thank you for not justifying your statements by boring us again with the story of your uber successful American Road Cycling website where you spent more than years (2001 through today) developing a proprietary process for carefully tracking online activity while using world class best-practices writing and content creation to conclusively engage rapt and enthusiastic audiences.

Really, thank you for not doing that, and thanks for not mentioning once more the Endico website (est. 1993, the very first year of the Worldwide Web).

Of course, everybody knows of your half century success in Sugar Loaf business, so if you say this website should be left as is until impetus again arrives from local real world humans, you should know.

784412/20/2021 2:07:35 PMGraceI remember being there as a little girl. My mother bought a large batik by Jeannie Paulsen that I now have in my living room. It is an absolutely beautiful scene of a knight on a muscular steed and a princess separated by a dragon. The colors are deep greens, and blacks.

I'd like to know more about Jeannie and this piece...it is a true treasure.

Keep on creating!

Grace Barlow

Tracking your browsing pattern by following your IP# thru the website usage logs reveals you have already read all the information we have about Jeannie Paulsen.

Per your tip, I have fixed our spelling error for her last name by changing Paulson to Paulsen.

Thank you for the query and correction.

08/02/21 update

As a quick update to this posting, below links a "Wow!" alternative to Tesla's lithium ion batteries:

In the two years since we installed our full-house solar array, not only have we covered our own electric needs, we have given a free charge to several random wandering EV's plus loaned back to the grid an additional 11 Megawatts for others to use.

Yes, I said megawatts not kilowatts.

That means we have become a smallish electric power company, or if you prefer a community based benefactor of electrical energy, having generated $2090.00 worth of publicly available green grid electricity.

But for our own financial comfort (given the likely case payback never comes) and in order to further confirm our rabid independence from the fossil fuel grid, we may need to add a washer sized battery next to the 2 Tesla batteries in our basement.

To understand why the prospect of buying another battery excites me, see the video link in this update which describes iron-air batteries — but please don't mention it to Mary and get her going on cost again.

- CUIDADO -

<-- The video linked at left gives a perfect overview for what is absolutely positively our undeniable future.

Just be aware that to some extent it is merely a Tesla commercial.

Thankfully, one presenter clues us in wearing a t-shirt screaming, "TEAM ELON!"

But in no way should that lead you to believe the video is untruthful, because it is incredibly correct... with a couple of caveats.

For one thing, the software mentioned is not yet as good as portrayed.

Tesla Powerwalls are not truly "uninterruptable", so if your application requires glitch-free power, Tesla's current implementation of battery to grid still has a ways to go.

Also the statement that Elon is a genius far ahead of his time ignores the fact most of the rest of the world already allows cars to act as peaker sources for the grid.

Only in Trump's America could the U.S. brashly claim to be leading edge while remaining so laughably behind the curve.

Be that as it may, Elon is definitely more qualified to talk about the future of energy than was Trump qualified to be placed in the position of leadership that allowed him to destroy the Republican Party on his way to failing at his quest to rid the world of democracy, self determination, and the rule of law.

But even Trump et al. knew better than trying to fuck with electromagnetism, gravity, and the laws of physics.

Which is why I derived great pleasure throwing scads of money into solar during the darkest of the Trump years, thus protecting our savings with something untouchable and of unassailable value.

We believe Elon happens to be correct about the world's unstoppable move to electric, and we have now completed our conversion to full solar at the Endico studio.

On the other hand, inevitable as the world's changeover to sustainable power may be (along with the possible resumption of democratic norms), we should be careful to never again pin the label "genius" on some random slightly-off business type and bow before them ever after in unquestioning devotion.

Something to ponder in our shiny bright electric future.

78317/22/2021 11:12:29 PMBob FugettTesting, testing: re-open.

Those who would harm us have all left town.

However, I am still not going to advertise the fact this Forum is again open to the public.

I will just be placing notes to myself here while people catch on.

Otherwise: have at it.
